Edge Beveling Belts

After the straps are cut from the hide the edges are beveled by hand. A thin strip is cut from each edge with an edge beveler. Bevelers come in various sizes and round off the sharp corners of the leather, making them smooth and slightly rounded in preperation for dying and polishing.
